Our Founder: Swami Anand Krishna
One Earth School: Preschool – Senior High School
Founded in the year 2009, the Intercultural School on the Isle of Bali is the brainchild of Anand Krishna, a well-known Spiritual Humanist Activist and prolific author.
Operating under the auspices of Anand Krishna Education Foundation (a wing of Humanitarian Organization Anand Ashram, affiliated with the United Nations), One Earth School is committed to its Founder’s Vision of One Earth, One Sky and One Humankind.
To achieve the above Vision of Oneness of All Existence, the School adheres to a
Values-Based Education not for Living Alone, but for Life Itself from its inception.
The School follows the Indonesian National Curriculum, and equally important are extracurricular activities such as Meditation, Yoga and the like, which focus on the Character Building for the Holistic Growth of the students. Thus, the students are prepared to embrace the constant changes and isruptions happening globally, in all fields, without forsaking the ancient ancestral wisdom.
Recognising the efforts, in 2022, the National Ministry of Education conferred upon the
school the title of “Sekolah Penggerak” as a Model School.
